Construction for the 8,500 square-foot building was at the main entrance to the community, necessitating that the contractor and all subcontractors be especially mindful of maintaining a clean construction site. In addition, the material staging area was across a busy street, which made safety of workers and traffic a major concern. Challenges included anticipation and control of surface water drainage and minimizing the accumulation of silt in the community鈥檚 pond.
